The Cabin
Unwind after a day of skiing or hiking with sunset views from the private hot tub. Gather on the lovely deck for dinner around the table, then move to the fire pit as the mountain air cools and the valley settles in below you.
Inside, Serenity Now! offers four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a second kitchenette on the lower level — plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. A gas fireplace warms the main living space, four smart TVs and arcade games keep everyone happy, and fast Wi-Fi is there for the days you can't quite unplug.
Step outside and you're surrounded by Pisgah National Forest, with private access to the Big Bald trailhead and three entrances to the Appalachian Trail within the community. This is the mountain at its most restorative.

The Mountain Climate
At nearly a mile of elevation, Wolf Laurel is where people come to escape the summer heat. July highs up here typically sit in the upper 70s — while Asheville bakes below and the rest of the South swelters. Evenings turn genuinely cool, the kind that call for a light blanket on the deck.
Because of that, the cabin has no air conditioning — and rarely needs it. Ceiling fans throughout, portable fans, and windows thrown open to the mountain breeze keep things comfortable all summer long. It's the way mountain homes up here have always stayed cool, and for most guests it's part of the charm.
